Case Result: Assault Causes Bodily Injury-Family Violence (MTR)

A Motion to Revoke (MTR) was filed with 27 paragraphs of violation on client’s Assault Causes Bodily Injury-Family Violence case. Client pled guilty to minimum sentence of two (2) yrs on a 3rd degree.


Case Result: Assault Causes Bodily Injury, Family Violence with Previous Conviction

Client was charged with Assault Causes Bodily Injury, Family Violence- enhanced due to a prior conviction for Assault family violence. Police were called due to woman with a bloody nose crying in public. She told police that her husband hit her. Client pled to reduced misdemeanor offense and received 6 months in jail (two weeks short of time-served).


Case Result: Assault Causes Bodily Injury, Family Violence- Enhanced

Client was charged with felony assault of his wife. There were several third-party witnesses who saw her in distress and offered to assist her. There were three children who witnessed the assault and gave statements to the police as well. Client was on second-degree felony probation out of another county. Prosecution had recordings of the client admitting guilt. Client agreed to the minimum sentence.


Case Result: Intoxication Assault with Vehicle

Client was accused of intoxication assault in which he struck another car and had a passenger in his car. The people in the car he struck suffered broken ankle, a broken arm as well as a punctured lung. The passenger in his car had a broken arm. Client was an illegal alien and was able to have only one of the three potential charges indicted. Defendant received the minimum sentence and was eligible for release within 35 days. 


Case Result: Assault Causes Bodily Injury

Client was charged with assaulting the victim along with the co-defendant. Client was accused of throwing her to the ground and kicking her. Client was on felony Parole. We were able to plea client to a $500 fine and time served and not have parole revoked.


Case Result: Assault Causes Bodily Injury

Client was charged with class A, Assault Causes Bodily Injury and faced up to a year in county jail and up to a $4000 fine. At the time of the offense client was on parole from prison for a felony. Complaining witness and a dis-interested third-party said that our client threw the victim to the ground and began kicking her. Client had four prior felony convictions.Client pled to a $500 fine and time served.


Case Result: Assault on a Public Servant

Client charged with Assault on a Public Servant. Case dismissed after client wrote a letter of apology and successfully completed an in-patient drug rehabilitation program.
