Burglary of Habitation & Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle

Client and his friends used in NBA's player home as hangout while NBA player and family out of town. Additionally, took luxury car for joyride on multiple occasions. During one ride, the car was keyed by another juvenile. A total of $55,000 in damage and stolen property resulted from the incident. 2 adults and 4 juveniles were charged. My client, the neighbor of the player, received a 6 month deferred prosecution (similar to a pre-trial diversion in adult court) and a payment of 1/6 of the restitution owed.
