Client was on an 8 year Deferred Adjudication of Probation for a Possession of Controlled Substance charge. While on probation, client picked up a new charge and was convicted of Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) in another state.
After a Motion to Adjudicate (MTA) Probation was filed, a bench warrant was issued to extradite our client back to Montgomery County.
Result: The State withdrew the MTA and released the client from probation.
